We collect information you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, and password when creating an account. For business owners, we also collect business details including address, phone number, and business description. We automatically collect certain information when you use our platform, including your IP address, browser type, and usage patterns through cookies and similar technologies.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide and maintain the Albanian Directory platform, process and manage business listings, enable user reviews and interactions, send notifications about your account or listings, improve our services and user experience, and ensure platform security. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Information Sharing
We share your information only in limited circumstances: business listing information is publicly visible on the platform, we may share data with service providers who assist in operating our platform, and we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and platform. User account information is never shared publicly without your consent.
4. Data Security
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption of sensitive data, secure server infrastructure, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your account credentials confidential.
5. Your Rights
You can edit your business listing any time from your dashboard. For anything else, write to privacy@albanian.biz and a person handles it. You can ask for a copy of the data we hold on you, to correct anything that is wrong, or to delete your account. You can also ask us to hand your data over in a file you can take elsewhere, to limit how we use it, or to stop using it. We normally reply within one month and it costs you nothing. If a request is complicated we will tell you inside that month and may need longer. If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to your data protection authority. In Albania that is the Commissioner for the Right to Information and Protection of Personal Data at idp.al. In the UK it is the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. Elsewhere in the EU or EEA it is the authority where you live.
6. Who We Are
Albanian Directory is run by Innovade Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under number 12513876, which also trades as Northern Codes. Our registered office is C1 Oyo Business Units, Crabtree Manorway North, Belvedere, Kent, DA17 6AX, United Kingdom. Innovade Limited is the data controller for the information described in this policy, which means we decide what is collected and what happens to it. Write to us at privacy@albanian.biz.
